We are not only home, but back in the office after an amazing time at Keller Williams Mega Camp. More than 12,000 Keller Williams Real Estate Agents from around the world and 47 Agents from Keller Williams Advantage Realty, Keller Williams Waterford Lakes, and Keller Williams Lake Nona came together in Austin, Texas to immerse themselves in real estate education, business planning, and networking. Mega Camp is special as it showcases the brightest minds and biggest producers in the Real Estate industry sharing not only what makes them successful, but also what makes their business stand out among all the others.
The Keller Williams Waterford Team committed to the entire week, attending Technology Camp, Agent Camp, Leadership Camp, and Agent Masterminds. Worth the entire trip was Tech Camp, seated with an energetic and excited group of more than 3200 agents you could not help but get excited. Keynote Speaker Ben Kinney was great as always. He speaks our language and we love his marketing mind. Next was Jay Papasan who is a favorite presenter of mine with his easy style and friendly countenance coupled with a brilliant journalistic mind. After Jay, Chad Hyams took the stage and did a segment on Google: Past, Present and Future. Google is always a favorite topic of discussion as it is ever changing, but Chad’s presentation, which included easy to understand and implement ideas for dominating Google, was fast paced and funny which I found thrilling. My kind of learning! To leave us on the edge of our seats, Cary Sylvester announced the coming myMobile App. This electrified the crowd of agents who now had an amazing new tool to look forward to in the first quarter of 2013.Not only did we walk away with some great ideas, we walked away with some new friends and people we are sure to get to know better.
Lana Groetsch, Productivity Coach at the Keller Williams Advantage Group loved Agent Masterminds where the presenter was Dianna Kokoszka (head of MAPS Coaching). This was not her first up close experience with Dianna and she did not fail to meet the expectations of those who attended. Masterminds is a smaller group, divided up into several separate rooms with a different presenter in each. The smaller group allows us to work within our table groups and identify issues and present solutions. It’s a great place to create long lasting relationships.
Leadership Camp was extra special as it featured keynote speaker John Maxwell who discussed his 5 levels of leadership. I had no idea he was so funny too. I’m new to John Maxwell teachings so it was a delight.
We are not leaving Austin, Texas and Keller Williams Mega Camp with a list of ideas to implement. We’re leaving with business relationships, personal relationships, and one idea to implement. We all feel like we are back at the beginning of our real estate career with a whole world to conquer. We each have our individual plan of action, but as Gary Keller taught us, we will work at our One Thing.
Thank You Keller Williams Realty International and everyone involved. Thank You Panelists and Presenters. You are life Changers.
